Yes another igorot starstruck. definitely.. That's my son and I am proud that he has Igorot blood in him... I am Jennilyn Lingbanan Avelino .My mother is Juana Lina-ao Lingbanan from Banga-an, Sagada while my father is from Bagnen, Bauko Mtn. Province. My parents settled in Bontoc, Mtn. Province. I graduated in St. Mary's School, Sagada, Mtn. Province in 1980. That makes me a pure blooded Igorot. My husband's mother is a pure blooded spanish from Cagayan, Tuguegarao and his father is from Samar but my husband was born and raised in Quezon City. Now, we are residing in Baguio City.
My husband speaks English that's why my children speaks English, too. I admit it's my fault of not training them to speak in pure Igorot.
Paulo is the second among four children. He had a strong drive of early independence but instead of barkada's and other usual things that other teenagers normally get entangled, Paulo on the other hand went on working for a living. got a job in grocery store as a bagger, worked in water refilling station and many others at an early age. Paulo left home when he was currently enrolled in Entrepreneurship in Saint Louis University Baguio City but not totally without informing us later. He continued his modelling despite our objections, then worked his way to print ads, tv ads and commercials .
Rather than to quash the desire of his heart, the result of all his painstaking efforts to reach this point, we as parents could only push our frustrations aside regarding his studies and give our full support for his dreams and join his supporters.
It is our fervent prayer that our son, Paulo will not overlook the chance of God's purpose to use him as a role model of the youth of today behind the fame, glory and popularity.
